Psychologically, the dream kiss is a dense symbol of the longing for closeness, fusion and being accepted. Whom one kisses often betrays which unconscious wish for love or reconciliation is at work within, and sometimes a displaced longing from earlier bonds.
Oriental reading
In Oriental-Islamic interpretation, a kiss usually promises the attaining of a wish, affection, or a benefit from the one kissed. If it springs from love and purity it is a good sign; if from cunning, it counsels caution in a relationship.
European folk (dream-book)
In old folk-belief, a kiss in a dream is a sweet sign of faithfulness, friendship, and glad news already on its way. Kiss a loved one truly, and it foretells harmony in the house and someone courting your good favour. But if the kiss be false, cold, or from a stranger, the old folk warn of flattery and a betrayer who comes to you with honey on his lips and falseness in his heart.

Traditionally it points to unfinished business or a lesson you still have to learn. Psychologically the psyche is processing the past and seeking inner closure so you can turn your gaze forward.
Being kissed on the forehead
A kiss on the forehead carries no passion but protection, blessing, and respectful affection. Traditionally it is a good sign of support and goodwill from a superior or caring person. Psychologically it reflects the need for unconditional security and the affirmation of being seen and valued.
Kissing a deceased person
Kissing a deceased person in a dream is usually not a grim sign but an expression of love, grief, and the wish for reconciliation beyond death. Traditionally it suggests that a blessing or consolation comes to you from this person's memory or legacy. Psychologically the psyche is processing the loss and seeking a last feeling of closeness and farewell.
