Masa može da utelovi mnoge suprotstavljene glasove sopstvene psihe ili pritisak kolektiva u kome individualna želja preti da iščezne. Osećaj da te niko ne vidi često ukazuje na duboki strah od beznačajnosti ili na želju da konačno budeš prepoznat.
Orijentalno tumačenje
Tradicionalno se masa ljudi često tumači kao nagoveštaj poslova koji se zapliću ili postaju teški za sagledavanje. Uređeno, mirno okupljanje, naprotiv, može da obeća pomoć, zajedništvo i podršku.
