Nevesta ili venčanje mogu da odražavaju želju za sjedinjenjem sa odvojenim delom sebe, za unutrašnjim izmirenjem suprotstavljenih nagona. Često obeležavaju ambivalentan prag ka novoj ulozi, gde čežnja i strah od gubitka starog sebe leže jedno uz drugo.
Orijentalno tumačenje
U orijentalno-islamskom tumačenju nevesta se često čita kao znak radosne vesti, blagoslova ili dobiti koja ulazi u dom. Zavisno od okolnosti, nepoznata nevesta može da stoji i za sam svet i njegove zavodljive poslove.

In old European folk lore the bride seen in a dream is a herald of change, yet the village wisdom warns that to behold a bride often foretells a death or parting among kin, for joy and sorrow are said to wear the same white veil. Should a maiden dream herself a bride, a long waiting and a turn of fortune lie ahead. A wedding dreamed, the old omen-books whisper, frequently runs contrary to itself and may bring quarrel, tears, or unexpected news under the roof.

Seeing yourself as the bride is, in Oriental reading, often a herald of a new chapter, a blessing or an honourable turn in life. Psychologically the dreamer here merges with a ripening, festively dressed part of the self — a sign of inner readiness to commit to something new.
Wedding without a groom
A wedding where the groom is missing or faceless points to a longed-for union that has not yet found its firm counterpart. Tradition warns of premature joy or an empty promise; psychologically it reveals a wish for bonding that still lacks its inner partner — resolve, courage, or a concrete object.
Bride in black
A bride dressed in black inverts the glad omen: where blessing is expected, mourning, loss or an ambivalent union creeps in. She marks a threshold where joy and farewell coincide — the end of an old life wearing the dress of a beginning.
A dead person getting married
When a dead person marries in a dream, tradition reads it as a sign of that soul's peace or condition — sometimes a good omen for those left behind. Psychologically it heals an unfinished farewell: a part of us seeks reconciliation with the lost one and a dignified inner closure.
