A te rătăci

Psihologic (Freud)

The old dream-book reads getting lost as a sign that confusion and uncertainty stand at the door: a work begun will stall, and a plan refuse to fall into place. Wander long in the wood or in strange lanes, and the old folk foretell a spell of dithering before the true road shows itself again. Find your way home in the end, and it promises that all tangles will loosen and a lost thread come back to hand.

Scenarii frecvente de vis

Getting lost in a strange city

Wandering through an unfamiliar city without finding your way mirrors feeling overwhelmed and uprooted in a new phase of life. Traditionally it calls for reflection before you decide hastily on unknown ground. Psychologically it shows the search for orientation in surroundings whose rules you do not yet understand.

Can't find the way home

Searching in vain for the way home points to an estrangement from what gives you inner security and belonging. Traditionally it warns that you have drifted from your roots or your true path. Psychologically home stands for your real self, so the dilemma shows you have lost touch with your inner center.

Lost in the forest

Getting lost in a dense forest leads you into the thicket of the unconscious, where fears and unresolved feelings lurk. Traditionally it points to a tangled life situation in which you lack an overview. Psychologically the forest invites you to face your repressed sides instead of searching frantically for the way out.

Losing and searching for a child

Frantically searching for a lost child in a crowd embodies the fear of neglecting something precious and in need of protection. Traditionally it warns you not to lose sight of your responsibility. Psychologically the child may stand for your own inner child or a vulnerable part of your life that you risk losing in the bustle of everyday demands.
