Tatăl

Psihologic (Freud)
In the old folk dream-book the father stands as a sign of protection and steady counsel; to see him living and hale promises help in a hard matter and a fortunate end to what one has begun. Should he speak in the dream, his words are to be kept well, for the country folk held that a father warns from sleep of trouble coming. To behold a dead father, however, is taken as the forerunner of an admonition or a turn in the weather, and some of the old ones read it as a sign of rain and storm on the way.
Scenarii frecvente de vis
Deceased father
The deceased father in a dream is traditionally a bearer of blessing, counsel or a warning from a higher order — his state often mirrors the dreamer's own peace of soul. Psychologically the internalised father lives on here: he seeks the conversation left unfinished in life, or a blessing that was never spoken.
Arguing with father
Arguing with the father embodies the inner conflict with authority, rules and the standards one measures oneself against. Psychologically the ego wrestles with the superego for autonomy; traditionally the image warns against rejecting well-meant counsel out of defiance and urges you to seek peace.
Sick father
Seeing a sick father stirs the fear of losing the protection and support that until now seemed self-evident. Psychologically the internalised image of strength and reliability is faltering; traditionally it may point to a weakening within the household or to worry about one's own mainstay.
Hugging father
Hugging the father is a warm sign of reconciliation, protection and the acceptance of one's own roots. Traditionally it promises blessing, security and good fortune in the home; psychologically the dreamer makes peace with the inner authority and with all that has shaped them.
