Η Κάαμπα ή το προσκύνημα στο όνειρο μπορεί να σταθεί ως εικόνα ενός εσωτερικού κέντρου προς το οποίο η ψυχή στρέφει όλες τις λαχτάρες της, ένα σύμβολο ολότητας και του ποθητού στόχου. Καθρεφτίζει συχνά μια βαθιά επιθυμία για ένταξη, επιστροφή στην πατρίδα και τη διάλυση της εσωτερικής διχόνοιας σε μια ανώτερη ενότητα.

Στην ανατολίτικη-ισλαμική παράδοση, η Κάαμπα ή το προσκύνημα στο όνειρο υπόσχεται μεγάλη ευλογία, την εκπλήρωση μιας πολυκαιρισμένης επιθυμίας και ένα ευλογημένο σημείο καμπής στη ζωή. Σύμφωνα με τον Ιμπν Σιρίν, παραπέμπει σε ασφάλεια, στη συγχώρεση των αμαρτιών και σε ένα πρόσωπο ή μια ευκαιρία που φέρνει στον ονειρευόμενο καθοδήγηση και τιμή.
