Voda je jedan od najgušćih simbola nesvesnog i emocionalnog života: bistra voda nagoveštava unutrašnju vedrinu, mutna voda potisnute ili nerazrešene uznemirenosti. U dubinskoj psihologiji ona često dodiruje rođenje, matericu i tok sopstvene želje.
Orijentalno tumačenje
U islamskom tumačenju snova, čista, slatka voda snažan je znak života, blagoslova, znanja i poštene zarade. Nasuprot tome, mutna ili slana voda tumači se kao briga, bolest ili nepošten dobitak.
