Oluja u snu često odražava uzburkana osećanja i unutrašnji sukob koji punom snagom prodire u svest. Njeno besnenje može da izrazi strah od promene koja potresa uobičajenu duševnu ravnotežu.
Orijentalno tumačenje
U orijentalno-islamskom tumačenju snova silovita oluja najčešće nagoveštava nemir, strah ili prolaznu nesreću, čija težina odgovara snazi vetra. Ako se brzo stiša, to ukazuje na krizu koja će ubrzo proći.
