In the old dream-book milk is a sign of blessing, health and household happiness. To drink fresh, sweet milk foretells prosperity, a fruitful marriage and the blessing of children, and for the farmer a rich harvest; but to spill milk means a small loss and labour gone to waste. Sour or curdled milk warns of sickness, ill-will or a soured friendship, and whoever milks in a dream is told by the old belief to expect growing wealth through the work of their own hands.

Sour milk
Sour or spoiled milk shows a provision or relationship that was once good and has now turned. Traditionally it warns of impure gain or trust gone cloudy, while psychologically a once-nourishing bond has soured and needs an honest reckoning.
Breastfeeding a baby with milk
