Ориенталско тълкуване
В ориенталско-ислямското тълкуване хлябът означава почтена прехрана, благословия и осигурено препитание; топъл, чист хляб предвещава благоденствие и добра, благословена година. Мухлясал или развален хляб, напротив, предупреждава за оскъдица или за нечестно придобита печалба — както отбелязва традицията на Ибн Сирин.

Baking bread yourself shows that you create your livelihood and your fortune with your own hands. Oriental interpretation promises reward for effort and a blessing born of your labour. You have become the maker of your own abundance.
