Το νεκροταφείο στο όνειρο είναι το τοπίο του παρελθόντος, όπου αναπαύεται ό,τι έχουμε θάψει, απωθήσει ή ποτέ δεν πενθήσαμε. Ένας τάφος μπορεί να αποκαλύπτει την επιθυμία να αντιμετωπίσουμε επιτέλους παλιές αναμνήσεις ή ένα κομμάτι του εαυτού που έχουμε κλειδώσει.
Ανατολίτικη ερμηνεία
Παραδοσιακά το νεκροταφείο είναι υπενθύμιση της θνητότητας, καλώντας τον ονειρευόμενο στην προσευχή και στις καλές πράξεις. Η επίσκεψη σε έναν τάφο διαβάζεται συχνά ως σημάδι νουθεσίας, αλλά και παρηγοριάς και σύνδεσης με εκείνους που έφυγαν πρώτοι.

Folk belief holds the cemetery in a dream to be no ill sign but a quiet message from afar: word will soon come from one long silent, or an old tie will be knit anew. To walk among the graves means, by the old reading, that a worry will be laid to rest as a body is laid in the earth. Some grandmothers even said a flowering graveyard foretells a wedding or a birth somewhere in the wider family.

Walking through a cemetery
Walking calmly through a cemetery traditionally points to reflection, humility, and a reminder to do good. Psychologically you are passing through your own past — through what is finished and may now be looked at without dread. Feeling peace there means you are reconciled with what has gone.
An open or empty grave
An open, empty grave is read in tradition as an ambivalent sign: it can be a warning, but may also hint at a waiting fate not yet filled. Psychologically it marks a threshold — something within you is ready to die, yet the farewell is not complete. It is an invitation to decide what you wish to bury and what you do not.
Visiting a loved one's grave
Visiting the grave of someone you knew is traditionally a call to prayer, faithfulness, and remembrance of those you are bound to. Psychologically it is often the ongoing work of grief — a need to speak with the lost one or settle what was left unsaid. If the dead person speaks in the dream, their words are worth heeding.
Lost in a graveyard
Wandering lost among the graves, unable to find the way out, suggests you are trapped in the past and cannot return to life. Traditionally it warns against melancholic brooding that binds your vital force. Psychologically it points to an unresolved grief or regret you keep circling instead of finding a path back into the present.
